Product Information This lab provides a safe, easy and powerfully visual means of illustrating the effects of exposing biological systems to ionizing radiation. Following the step-by-step instructions and using their own development dome, each student cultivates seeds that have been exposed to radiation (similar to X-rays and completely safe) as well as those of a control group of non-irradiated seeds. Within a few weeks students will clearly note the unusual growth patterns of the irradiated seeds in comparison to the growth of the normal seeds. Includes instructions.
