Isolate purified DNA in just 15 minutes
Isolate purified DNA in just 15 minutes with this hands-on kit, which does not require the use of chloroform, phenol or any other hazardous substances.
Simply supply absolute ethanol and bacterial cells, then isolate DNA to complete the first step in creating recombinant organisms.
Kit contains materials for 10 isolations; each isolation produces up to 10 μg of plasmid DNA ready for use in molecular biology experiments.
Includes: teacher's guide. Live E. coli is required but not included. The kit may be used with any plasmid containing bacterial strain, but we recommend using 67499-80 for best results.
