Product Information Between 1969 and 1972 NASA sent six Apollo missions to the moon. These missions returned to Earth with a combined amount of more than 382 kilograms of lunar rocks, core samples, pebbles, sand, and dust. These samples have provided us with a greater understanding of the evolution of our nearest planetary neighbor.
