This simple and cost-effective wind turbine kit is a perfect introduction to wind power. Through experimentation with variable wind speeds, students will assemble a nacelle and turbine to harness wind to power electrical devices. The included blades are specifically molded for ideal power output and maximum voltage. A light breeze is all you need to power an LED bulb and play music on the included sound and light board. The optional Blade Design Pack allows students to use creativity and comparative thinking skills to design and test their own blade shapes, creating the most efficient output. Existing blades can be easily removed and replaced with student designs using the included crimping hub. Design pack also includes a simple digital multimeter to quantify the power output for each blade design.
