Build and program five K'NEX models without the need for a computer, with this intelligent control box and mechanical building kit. Students discover the exciting world of engineering and design as they develop logical patterns and write programs to control on-screen models, then build and control the same models using the control box. Strengthen critical thinking and problem solving skills while demonstrating physical science concepts of force and motion, and mathematical reasoning theories. The box can store up to 64 actions, remembering the order and durations in which switches are pressed, and then repeat the sequence from memory. Signals are sent via multiple outputs including motors, LED and a buzzer. The entertaining and educational machines include an amusement park ride, swing ride, double ferris wheel, traffic lights, and multi-motor car.

For a truly integrated lesson combining science, engineering, and technology, this activity can be used in conjunction with most interactive whiteboards. Includes 254 K'NEX parts, control box and software, two motors, two LEDs, one buzzer, building instructions, and suggestions for student challenges.
