Product Information An excellent introduction to the metabolic process. Students observe small organisms (such as chameleons, lizards, snails, mealworms and arthropods - not included) and draw correlations between the size of the organism, the temperature of its environment, and oxygen consumption. Your students will calculate an organisms’ respiratory rate, measure the total gas change in a closed environment, and determine the organisms’ metabolic relationship to total gas in a closed environment.
