These small gas cylinders are not a good value. First of all, they contain very little gas, only about 2 cubic feet. Once empty, disposal can be a problem. It's a much better proposition to obtain small, returnable cylinders from a local welding supplier, especially for gases like helium, which are handy to have in larger quantities. Gases like hydrogen and oxygen can be made in the laboratory by electrolysis, etc.
