Product Information

Compact in size, this device offers a big lesson in magnets and levitation. This two-tone soinning vortex demonstrates magnet levitation and frictional force with just one twist of the wrist. Set its axle rotating for over ten minutes and as it spins, the black and white sections allow you to measure the rotation speeds with a stroboscope. In addition, the friction is so low that it can be tracked with a stroboscope readout. Size: 14cm L x 9cm W x 6cm H.
