The kit includes all of the materials required for the three new experiments in the new Chapter 13 of PSSC Physics, 6th Edition.
The experiments give students an introduction to electric circuits using both ohmic and nonohmic devices. Further, they give students a glimpse of how an electronic calculator performs an arithmetic operation.
Included are 2 silicon diodes, 4 LED’s, an assortment of 11 resistors, 4 different integrated circuits, 1 transistor, one 23 x 10 inch breadboard with two buses, and four differently colored 3 meter lengths of 22 gauge insulated copper wire. Also included are schematics for the four IC’s and the transistor showing all pin connections. One per two students is recommended.
