Product Information

Use this ingenious apparatus to demonstrate the nature of the Earth’s magnetic field. A half square containing an imbedded magnet is mounted in a transparent container filled with a clear viscous liquid and iron filings. As the iron filings trace the lines of force around the magnetic sphere, a dramatic demonstration is provided of the field around the Earth. This model is great for use with an overhead projector. Includes instructions. Size: 15 cm dia.
