Product Information

This large colorful model makes clearly visible two wall cell membranes, cristae, subunits, matriix and granules in the power house organelle of the cell. Normally three microns in length, this mitochondrion is enlarged 190,000 times. On the base of the model, in molded relief, is a 1,000,000X cross section through the membrane and the subunits, and a simplified schematic citric acid cycle (Krebs cycle). Includes labeled and unlabeled color key card, reproducible key, and organelle descriptions sheet. Size: 58 x 20 x 28cm.
