Moment of Inertia Demonstrator
|
Product Information
Offer a hands-on demonstration of the relationship between the moment of inertia and the distribution of mass with this apparatus designed by teacher Bruce Yeany. Hold the demonstrator in one hand and slide the attached blocks in either direction from the center of the meter stick, then rotate. By sliding the blocks toward the ends of the meter stick, students will observe that it takes a certain amount of effort to rotate the demonstrator. Now slide the blocks in toward the center of the stick and note that less force is required to rotate the stick. Comes complete with instructions. Grades 8–10. Size: 100cm L.
