Not Receiving Your Science Kit E-Mails? - Science Kit

Have you recently signed up for the Science Kit e-mail newletter, but not received any e-mails yet? It is possible that our e-mails are being filtered by your Internet Service Provider (AOL, Earthlink, etc.) before they ever get to you, due to the growing problem of SPAM. What is spam? It is unsolicted electronic junk mail, generally promoting a product or service.

Many internet service providers have set up guidelines for the delivery of e-mail to your inbox to help alleviate the problem. Rather than send all e-mail into your Inbox, they will often send messages from unknown users into “bulk” or “junk” folders. To ensure that you receive e-mails from Science Kit, which contain valuable offers, special discounts and sneak peaks at our newest products, we offer the following tips:

  • Add sciencekit@sciencekit.com to your address book.
  • If your internet service provider gives you the opportunity to maintain a “white list”, you should do so. Your “white list” should specify address that you never want filtered out of your Inbox. Add sciencekit@sciencekit.com to your “white list”.
  • If you use Hotmail, you can create a “safe list” rather than a “white list”. Click “Options”, then choose “Safe List”, then add sciencekit@sciencekit.com.
  • If you use AOL 9.0, add sciencekit@sciencekit.com to your “People I Know” list.

    If you’ve followed the tips above, and are still not receiving e-mails from Science Kit, contact our webmaster. Be sure to let us know who your e-mail provider is, and we’ll take it from there.
