This model was easy to set up and it even comes with the salt and food colouring you need to do the demos. The movement of less dense water to the top of the apparatus and denser water to the bottom is very easy to see, even using warm and cold tap water instead of the recommended hot water and ice. My students were impressed. I would recommend using it in a room with a sink for dumping the water when finished because it is awkward to carry through the halls. Also use the petroleum jelly as recommended to reduce leaking around the seals.
