This interactive software and user interface reinforces core science, technology, engineering and mathematical topics as students compete head-to-head in a skills-based race to build the most efficient wind turbine. Up to four students can compete at once to build and power their own wind turbine. Then, they'll monitor its efficiency using the alternator interface that reads voltage outputs and RPMs in real time. Requires one to four PicoTurbine Savonious Windmill Kits, or equivalent windmill kit with alternating current generator, available separately. Not compatible with DC motors or generators. USB port required. System requirements: Windows Vista/XP/7. Mac users must install Parallels Desktop 3.0 or higher.
