A useful complement to many optical measuring tools, the PolaScope measures and displays the content of many types of light sources. Simply point the light source at the center of the display, set the gain, and view the polarization information. The Polascope’s innovative rotating optics measure both the amplitude and polarization of this light. The light’s amplitude is color coded from green, for the smallest to red, for the largest. Its large, easy to read display can be optimized by turning the gain switch for the most detailed viewing. User friendly features also include its large input aperture which allows for easy alignment. Conveniently sized for the classroom, the Polascope has a rugged black aluminum casing which weighs less than 1 lb. A wall mounted transformer powers the Polascope and plugs into a standard 115 VAC, 50/60Hz receptacle. Size: 12 x 12cm.
