Product Information

A fun hands-on way to demonstrate pressure differences, this stick contains an electromechanical switch that indicates low pressure or high pressure within the tube. An LED lights up when there is a pressure difference between the tube and the outside air pressure. When placed inside the tube, an included ping-pong ball demonstrates the change in pressure as it falls towards or away from the sensor. Other applications include demonstrating the pressure difference between hot and cold water and the pressure from a carbonated beverage. Stick includes two inlets, one for low pressure and one for high. Size: 24cm L x 5cm dia.; weight: .5 kg.

Great product that spawns innovation

Great hands on product that physically shows pressure and vacuum. Secondly, it shows how electrical circuits work and how pressure and vacuum can be coupled with them creating an electomechanical device. This product has already been responsible for the development of two new patent pending consumer products. What will you discover?
