Planetarium on the Overhead Transparencies (Teacher-Developed, Classroom-Tested)
|
Product Information
Turn your overhead projector into a classroom planetarium. Teacher Edward Keller has developed an easy way to bring the constellations of the night skies into your classroom any time. The key to this kit is a set of five transparencies of the constellations in the northern skies: one for each season, and one of the circumpolar constellations as they appear in all four seasons. You simply place any of the transparencies on your overhead projector and darken your classroom for instant star-gazing. Individual stars and constellations can easily be highlighted by placing a colored piece of acetate on top of them. We've even included a teacher's "cheat sheet" with constellation outlines that can be placed on top of the transparencies. Also included are complete instructions, with extensions including suggestions for photographing real constellations and adding special effects to your "planetarium" show. Grades 8-10.
