Your students can develop basic map-reading skills as they learn about latitude, longitude and time zones with this kit designed by Earth science teacher David Stutzman.

Starting from a familiar coordinate, students get one clue each day. Then, using maps, globes and textbooks, they mark a location on the Official Treasure Hunt World Wall Map. During the course of five days, students chase clues all over the Earth as they search for the Great Treasure. A variety of colored pins allows each of your classes to use the same wall map. Grades 7-10.
