Product Information A practical, hands-on way for students to learn about the atom, the basic building block of matter. Using everyday items such as paper clips, Styrofoam balls, and straight pins, they can construct their own moveable, 3-D atom and model each atom into displaying its chemical and physical properties. Developed by teacher Patricia Rayner. Grades 5-8. Includes: Styrofoam balls, paper clips, fishing line, nails, index cards, 100 mm ornament balls, straight colored pins, and extraordinary, detailed instructions.
