Using everyday items such as paper clips, Styrofoam balls, and straight pins, they can construct their own moveable, 3-D atom and model each atom into displaying its chemical and physical properties. Developed by teacher Patricia Rayner. Grades 5-8.
Includes: Styrofoam balls, paper clips, fishing line, nails, index cards, 100 mm ornament balls, straight colored pins, and extraordinary, detailed
instructions. Other items, including ribbon, colored paper, colored pencils, scissors, glue, markers, tape, and magazines are optional. Bunsen burner and pliers are required.
