Product Information
Polyacrlyamide can soak up 400 times its own weight in water. If hydrated in an acid-base indicator solution, it can be dehydrated, stored and used as an indicator. The crystals will change color as the acid or base permeates them, revealing the degree of acidity or basicity of the solution. Tim Graham developed this dramatic demonstration. Includes instructions.
