Use this fascinating hands-on kit to show students what a DNA "fingerprint" looks like
This lab lets students compare predigested samples of bacteriophage lambda DNA (subjected to EcoR 1 and Hind III endonuclease restriction enzymes) to undigested lambda DNA, then analyze the results.
Includes: Study Kit - laboratory spatula, tray with cover, 5 sheets graph paper, pk/30 microfuge tubes 1.5mL, 250mL buffer, agarose prepared gel, 60mL DNA stain, teacher's guide. The Sample Set contains three DNA samples. (Please note: 10 uL micropipets are required but not included.)
