Product Information

Simulated hemoglobin makes this activity a safe way to learn how clinical researchers analyze blood.
The kit includes normal, sickle cell and carrier samples of artificial hemoglobin. Through electrophoresis, students discover that each hemoglobin produces different banding patterns; students must identify the samples based on their observations.
(Please note: Borate gels (3–8%) and perishables are required but not included.)
