Truly the finest air track you can buy for school use, the extrusion die was custom designed for this product, resulting in a track that features special flanges to hold a steel metric rule on one side, and a strip of spark paper on the other. Each length of extruded track is heat treated to relieve stress, and careful quality control ensures straightness.

Two rows of precisely aligned air holes are drilled on each side to guarantee friction-free movement of the gliders. Finally, the track is hand-finished and clear anodized to produce a hard, true surface. The custom-extruded gliders are designed with extra-thick skirts to withstand abuse and grooves in the top to accept accessories. Each glider is color-coded for mass and comes with two spring steel bumpers. The track is 1.67m long with a clear working distance of 1.5m.

It rests on 3 feet, one of which incorporates a leveling screw. Each air track comes complete with one 150 g, and two 300g gliders, a rubber band glider launcher, three 2.5cm coil springs for harmonic motion work, a wire and pulley for acceleration work, two ceramic magnets for non-contact experiments and complete instructions including suggested experiments.
