Product Information
Who knew studying aerodynamics, torque, precession and spin axes could be so much fun?The cylindrical X-Zylo is a flying physics lab that, when thrown like a football, can soar more than 200 meters. How does it resist gravitational torque and air current torques? Departing from traditional curved (dihedral) shaped airfoils, the X-Zylo features a thick leading edge, so that the upper and lower surfaces act as airfoils to provide lift. The Teacher’s Guide comes with one X-Zylo. Includes: diagram of X-Zylo’s aerodynamics.
