A relatively new member of the fuel cell family, the Methanol Fuel Cell may well become the power source of choice for energy-efficient, non-polluting electric vehicles of the future. Electrical power is produced directly from methanol.
The methanol fuel cell converts more than 34% of the energy content of the methanol into usable power – twice the efficiency of current gasoline engines.
Includes: direct methanol fuel cell with fuel storage tank, load-measurement box, three bottles for methanol storage, funnel for filling, spout for draining, and all required cables. The load-measurement box consists of seven-position resistance decade, lamp, electric motor with fan, voltmeter, and ammeter. Kit comes in a plastic storage container with cut-out foam insert to protect all pieces, instructions.
