Design customized lab simulations!
With this interactive simulation of a chemistry lab, students use common lab equipment - beakers, Erlenmeyer flask, test tubes, bunsen burner, etc - and standard methodology to perform a wide range of pre-designed experiments for general chemistry at the high school and college level. They move through lab procedures while interacting with animated equipment in a way that is similar to a real lab experience.
Each simulation comes with its own private list of chemicals and instructions, features an introductory overview of the experiment, a step-by-step procedure outline, and a lab notebook workspace with separate areas for theory and student observations.
The Lab Wizard feature allows you to expand upon the original lab parameters, allowing for customized, curriculum-specific simulations. Pre-designed labs include: acid-base titration, cation and anion reaction, reaction kinetics in redox reaction, flame chemistry, and factional distillation.
