Product Information

Fulgurites are tubular shapes of sand that have been fused by lightning. They are known to exceed eight meters but because they are extremely fragile, recovery is difficult and typically they are found in pieces of 10 to 15 cm with diameters ranging from 5 to 20mm. These specimens come in varying sizes but on average measure approximately 5 cm and are mounted in a clear plastic snap-case.
