Product Information
Uniform motion in a straight line needs no explanation - but any deviation from that needs to be explained and this device will help do just that. To help dispel a popular misconception, a two part circular track causes the included large wooden ball to move in a circle or tangent to that circle, but never radially. The instructor asks for speculation on how or why the wooden track makes the ball move in a circle and what would happen if one of the sections were removed. One section is removed to test the students perdictions for the path of the ball. Includes two-part interlocking circular track, large wooden ball, sheet of colored stickers.
