New Stereomicroscope for the Hobbyist - Provides exceptionally wide and bright illumination for the viewing of large specimens and objects. Great for rock hounds and dissection.
You will love using this versatile stereomicroscope with extra large plate and exceptionally bright fluorescent ring illumination. This is the microscope you will want to use for viewing fine details of large specimens or for dissection. Fluorescent illumination provides a much higher intensity light to illuminate every detail of even the most irregular objects. The ring configuration produces a circular light directly down and around the specimen. The result is even lighting and the virtual elimination of visible shadows.
Other features include a rotating nosepiece with 2x and 4x objectives and 10x eyepiece for easy switching from 20x to 40x magnification, inclined 360 degree rotating head for comfortable viewing, and solid body construction with rack and pinion focusing with slip clutch.
