Product Information Determine distance between any two points on a map with this convenient measurement tool. Set the instrument’s scale, roll it across the area in question on the map, and record the reading shown. Direct reading graduations are featured in miles for 1:24,000, 1:62,500 and 1:250,000 for USGS maps and in kilometers for 1:25,000, 1:50,000, and 1:100,000 scale maps. Inch and centimeter graduations for maps of unknown scale are also featured in addition to a revolution counter, reset wheel, and a folding magnifier.
