Product Information

Appropriate for all grade levels.
To control the buoyancy of your submarine, use the syringe and air tubing included. Have your students creat pressure differences, regulating the submersible to dive, hover or surface. Students can observe water level changes inside the transparent plastic submersible as they carry out density experiments. The Submarine and Lesson plans, developed by Dennis Dougherty, offer four activities relating to Archimede's Principle, buoyant force, siphon pressure and metric measurement. Aquarium not included.
