Product Information -Clarify water quality concepts Unlike other Turbidity Sensors that simply measure transmitted light, our Turbidity Sensor measures light scattered at 90 degrees (Nephelometric technique). Use of digital signal processing makes measurements extremely accurate and repeatable. Fast, easy calibration uses just two cuvettes and takes less than 15 seconds. Stabilized light source eliminates drift during an experiment. Black, opaque housing eliminates ambient light to ensure data accuracy. Typical Applications: -Compare the turbidity of water samples from various field locations -Determine the rate of settling of a sample -Conduct water quality studies -Measure the formation of a precipitate Specifications and Special Features: -0-400 NTU range with 0.1 resolution -Accuracy: 0-20 NTU at ± 0.2 NTU, 20 to 100 NTU at ± 0.5 NTU, 100 to 400 NTU at ± 1 NTU -Pulsed infrared light source for longer battery life -Two Included Borosilicate cuvettes last longer than plastic and have greater optical clarity -Includes Turbidity Sensor, Hach calibration standard (100 NTU), plastic storage case  Tell a Friend about this item
