Product Information
See the Heat The Infrared Light Sensor uses an Argon gas-filled thermopile to reach deep into the infrared spectrum. Students will be able to see the infrared radiation emitted by their own hand. Typical Applications: -Conduct thermodynamic experiments with a Leslie's Cube or Stephan-Boltzmann Lamp -Observe relative amount of infrared radiation emitted by common objects -Study the dynamics of radiant heat -Conduct Black Body experiments Specifications and Special Features: -Spectral response up to 40,000 nm -Sapphire window rejects spurious wavelengths outside the infrared band
