Professional Electronic Distance Measuring Tool with Receiver and Target.
This unique measuring device sends a narrow beam of sound waves that bounce off solid objects and back to the receiver. When used with the target device the receiver sends an invisible infrared beam and the target sends back sound waves. A microprocessor inside the receiver converts elapsed time into a distance measure and displays it.
Measures up to 60 feet/18m in single mode and 250 feet/75m in dual mode. Accurate to 99.5% at distances of 2 feet / 60cm to 250 feet / 75m. Auto-defaults to metres, feet/inches, decimal feet or yards. Stores up to 7 measurements. Adds and subtracts. Multiples to find areas and volumes. Unit can be field calibrated for better accuracy.
Both receiver and target use one 9V battery each (not included). Comes with instruction book plus instruction label and protective pouch. Covered by manufacturer's one year limited warranty.
