With conventional tops typically spinning for 30-45 seconds, the Quark is capable of spin times of more than an quarter hour. Made of brass, this exceptional science product is the result of a carefully engineered combination of weight distribution, balancing technology, tip topology, material selection, handle optimization, and exacting proportions. The tip is made of carbon steel. The hardness of this material prevents tip deformation that can detract from the optimum contact region.
