Product Information

Use this versatile tank to demonstrate dozens of scientific principles covering earth science, physics, chemistry and biology.
The thin, clear Plexiglas (R) tank can be used to illustrate surface tension, cells and expanding crystals, convection currents, heat of reaction, dew point, macro-pond life, simple diffusion, hydroponics, seed germination, density and much more.
The Teaching Tank measures 12" x 12" (30.5cm x 30.5cm) and comes complete with feet, hose, walls, fasteners and instructions.
Use with Waterless Polyacrylamide Crystals (item #69394-28), which absorb about 300 times their density in water and are used for experiments involving hydroponics, diffusion, absorption and refraction.
The Teaching Tank Expander Kit (item #69394-27) allows you to turn the Teaching Tank into a small aquarium in about three minutes. The kit includes 4 of the finest molded nylon rods, 8 nylon nuts and 1 white minicell gasket.
