Motic Net is a digital science station networking for schools that allows students' live microscope images to be transmitted directly onto the teacher's computer!
MoticNet represents the next step in science classroom management. This exciting new product allows multiple digital microscope computer stations to be linked to a teacher's computer so that he or she can have full and instant access to any student at any time.
In order to implement MoticNet, your classroom must be equipped with three core elements:
1) Digital microscopes/computers - MoticNet can effectively network from 4 to 48 microscopy stations.
2) Imaging device - In order to digitize the digital microscope image and transfer it in real-time to the teacher's computer, an imaging device for each student microscope is needed. The digital microscope may already have an imaging device built in, or any microscope can be retro-fitted with a Moticam attachable camera.
3) Application software - If you order a digital microscope from us, you'll automatically receive Motic's own application software. Precise measuring tools are included in each Motic software version, allowing students to easily and quickly learn from the digital microscopic image.
Once all of the student digital microscopes/computers are networked, the teacher can receive a live overview from each student station. This overview can be extended to cover a maximum of 48 individual computer stations so that even larger classes can be managed by a single teacher with ease.
With MoticNet, teacher demonstrations can be broadcast to the entire class. Similarly, if one student has something interesting to show, that live image can instantly be routed to the rest of the class.
