Product Information Involve the whole class in this game of mathematical aptitude. The Fraction Chain game includes two sets of 36 cards - one featuring improper fractions and mixed numbers; the other featuring fractions in their lowest terms. Distribute all 36 cards in a deck and pick a student to start the game by calling out the fraction problem listed on the bottom of their card. All students will check their cards for the answer at the top. The student with the match reads their answer and then continues play by reading the problem at the bottom of that card. The fraction chain weaves itself through the entire class while it reinforces critical thinking, mental math, and mathematical vocabulary skills. Game play can also be adapted for smaller groups.
