Product Information Conduct a graphic demonstration of the differences in thermal conductivity that the whole class can see. Four metal arms — one each of copper, aluminum, iron and brass — are embedded in a metal hub that rests in a clear glass dish. The dish is placed in the center of a 15 X 15 cm clear plastic square with labels for each arm, and each arm supports a small strip if wax. Boiling water is then poured into the glass dish and students are able to observe the sequence in which the wax melts. Includes instructions. Grades 9–12.  Tell a Friend about this item
