Measure spectral lines with an accuracy of ±1 nanometer using this instrument.
The unique ergonomic design and efficiency grating produces a bright color spectrum. The stepped slit resolves the fine structure in the spectrum including the mercury doublet and more than a dozen absorption lines in the sun.
Because the instrument is labeled in both electron volts and nanometers, you can use it in both chemistry and physics.
Students of all ages can use it to explore flame spectra, solar spectra, streetlights and dozens of other sources to identify elements.
The spectrometer is made of heavy duty plastic and printed with a chart of common spectral lines. Includes a manual.
