A simple curved chute along with a selection of three very different balls allows students to trace notions about motion from the early ideas of Galileo through the vector representation of forces, gravity, friction, velocity, acceleration, and momentum, as well as elastic and inelastic collisions. You can also explore periodic motion with both a light and very heavy pendulum at the same time, which can be easily adjusted individually while they are both still swinging. The kit includes a student manual and teacher notes. A suitable rod and stand, required, are available separately.
