Each Scholar Chemistry Tube Demonstration contains enough materials for five demonstrations. The glass demonstration tube is sold separately.

Create a colorful rainbow using only a few drops of acid, base, and universal indicator. Students will observe how quickly solutes will "travel" when the tube is inverted and how slow they migrate when the tube is not disturbed. A great introduction to acids and bases, pH indicators, neutralization reactions, and migration of ions in solution, this large-scale demo will be hugely popular with your students.
