Reaction Plates
|
Product Information
Reaction plates (or microplates, as they are often called) generally replace beakers and test tubes in the microchemistry lab. Each plate has a number of small, flat wells with a slight rim; each well is labeled with letters and numbers.Smaller sized microplates are generally used in experiments; larger sized can be used as a series of "micro beakers" for experiments that require large volumes of materials or the continuous addition of a reagent, or for demonstration purposes on an overhead projector. The well size of a 24-well reaction plate is perfect for holding and storing most of our Beral pipets. The polystyrene reaction plates are inexpensive, non-wetting, and can be rinsed and reused. Please note: Not recommended for use with organic solvents.
