Rotational Torque Demonstrator
|
Product Information
Pennsylvania physics teacher David Drummer came up with this simple way to demonstrate rotational torque. Have students predict what will happen when you pull the string a certain way, then surprise them with the results. Get the apparatus rolling by applying torque about an axis at the point of contact with the surface. It will roll to you, away, or not at all, depending on how the string is pulled. Includes torque rotation PVC device and instructions. Grades 10–12.
