Product Information

This fully-functioning windmill kit is a classic demonstration of the powerful uses of wind energy. Standing eight inches tall, it produces a powerful 1.7 to 2.5 volts of energy when the blades are spun either manually or by a light breeze. The power then flows to a bi-color LED bulb, which flashes red and green to show the alternating current produced. Ideal for group classroom demonstrations, individual experimentation, science fairs, or at-home fun, this kit can be easily assembled in less than one hour by children as young as ten years old. Includes instructor guide with classroom experiments and technical notes for advanced experimentation.
