Designed for pre-K to grade 3 children, these kits help children explore sound vibrations, understand how sounds resonate, and learn about sound energy and waves.
They learn how to make a tuning fork &"ring with the right swing&", use a tuning fork to develop an understanding of the concept of vibrations, perform a demonstration that shows them how vibrations can pass from one object to another, investigate where energy comes from, learn the meaning of resonate, and use sand to visualize sound wave patterns. Instructions are written to make the easily understood by teacher and student.
Classroom Kit Includes: 5 tuning forks, 5 wooden blocks, 5 plastic tubes, 5 cups, sand, rubber band, plastic bag, instructions and teacher notes. All comes in a reusable snap-lid plastic storage container. Individual Kit includes 1 tuning fork, wood block, cup, sand, plastic bag and instructions
