Product Information One of the more challenging kits we have ever offered The Srambler is a motorized vehicle that uses a light sensing device to detect the presence of objects in its path. The sensing device is connected to a logic system that is programmed to make the vehicle turn whenever it "finds" its path obstructed. Building the Scrambler is a fun way to learn some of the basic principles of robotics. You will observe how a robot can simulate human senses to react to changes in its environment. You will also learn the basics of electro-optic technology and gain some preliminary insight into integrated circuit technology. Kit includes all electronic and mechanical components required and a 32-page Instruction manual. To assemble the Scrambler you will need to provide needle nose pliers, diagonal pliers, soldering iron, screwdriver, Phillips screwdriver, metric wrench, small hammer, tweezer, fingernail polish.
