Product Information
Developed with the aid of a practicing forensic anthropologist, this fascinating lab familiarizes students with actual techniques used in forensics to identify and access skeletal indicators. The students will use math and observational skills to analyze the included skeletal remains of an unknown subject. With the help of measuring tools, they will determine the sex, height, race, and approximate age of the skeleton at the time of death. This protocol can be used in conjunction wtih other skeletal material that you may have available. The activity includes materials for four student groups, numerous reference photos featuring key anatomical structures, a teacher’s guide, and student copymaster.
