Improved capability and affordability make this device accessible for every lab. Array spectrometer technology allows you to collect a full wavelength spectrum (absorbance, percent transmittance, or intensity) in less than one second.

Once the peak wavelength is determined, you can easily determine the concentration of a solution (Beer’s law) or monitor rates of reaction.

Conduct kinetic studies of absorbance vs. time and perform equilibrium studies of absorbance vs. time or absorbance vs. concentration. With this unit’s two different excitation wavelengths, it can quantitatively measure the fluorescence spectra of many compounds, such as chlorophyll, fluorescein, GFP, and more.

The unit offers easy, one-step calibration, ideal for student use. Connect SpectroVis Plus to a LabQuest or a computer running Logger Pro using a standard USB cable included, and see the results in full color.

You can also measure emissions of gas discharge tubes, flame tests, or other light sources, using the SpectroVis Optical Fiber accessory, sold separately.
